Job description

The ideal candidate would be someone, who understands the business of Co-operative Banks (primary), Capital Markets (Clearing, Settlement & Custody) plus IBU business. He should also be able to manage the credit requirements of his clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Generating Liability/Asset CASA/Fixed Deposits/Call/Notice Money/Trade Limits through Cooperative Banks/RRB
  • Generating Liability/Asset CASA/Fixed Deposits/Working Capital Limits through Capital Market, Regional NBFC Clients and Insurance / MF business
  • To manage end to end Digital Banking Products suite for cooperative Banks (including product development, audit/compliance queries and reviews).  Act as Product champion for DB product offerings to the segment.
  • To liase with YBL IBU branch for business acquisition related to Capital  Markets / custody  business
  • To market to existing/potential clients(Cooperative Banks/RRBs/Capital Markets/NBFCs / MFs) the products and services offered by the Bank  and ensure acquisition/cross sell of various TBG/DB products across CRM
  • Relationship management with the existing customers to increase the NRV
  • End to end customer service management through service desks and ensure customer delight
  • Close co-ordination with internal stakeholders for timely implementation of service / products requirements of the customers
  • Maintenance of housekeeping, hygiene and transaction monitoring to ensure compliance.  To maintain up to date knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to role and to complete all bank compliance requirements within prescribed timeframes

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Masters degree in Business Administration
  • Wide-ranging commercial awareness and product knowledge (RTGS/NEFT/IMPS/UPI/AEPS/NFS/Trade Products) of product offerings to FI segment
  • Relevant Financial Institutional sales experience in Cooperative Banks and Capital markets segment is must
  • Customer-minded, presentable and excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills with Senior Management Executives of Institutions
  • Experience of product management specifically in digital & transaction banking products
  • Should be Mid Management executive who has potential and can be groomed to head state within 1year-2year time frame
  • Gujarati speaking skills are desirable.
