Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the BM in establishing growth, sales, and profit objectives for the branch; provide

input to these objectives and to the manner in which performance will be measured and

controlled. Ensure that the Sales Force at Branches is properly staffed and that the staff is trained

to meet customer service needs as well as sales objectives

  • Maintain current knowledge of the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India and all other

regulatory authorities.

  • Conduct regularly scheduled sales; actively encourages Sales staff to build customer

relationships

  • Interact with the Branch Manager to further expand existing customer relationships and develop

new contacts Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales

opportunities

  • Make provisions for the proper orientation and training of new Sales personnel who gets

inducted in the Banking system and review employee performance on a daily and monthly basis.

  • Bring out the best of branchs sales personnel by providing coaching, development and

motivation. Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges

and leverage growth opportunities

  • Performing such other tasks as maybe assigned by the Management

Desired Candidate Profile :

• A bachelors degree, preferably with a master's degree in Management

• 4-6 years experience of working in a similar position, preferably with a private sector bank

• Clear written and oral communication skills in English

• Good command over local language, basic mathematical skills, basic computer literacy is a must

• Demonstrated leadership and team building skills

• Proficient interpersonal relations and should be result driven and customer focused

• Thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services
